MEET PRO DIVE
For more than three decades, Pro Dive has helped people discover the marine environment of Algoa Bay.
Based in Humewood, Gqeberha, our PADI 5 Star Dive Centre offers diver training, guided diving, ocean experiences, equipment sales and servicing.
Kitty and Franco took over Pro Dive in 2022. Franco brings a particular interest in equipment and the technical side of diving, while Kitty’s interests include marine biodiversity and conservation. Together with the team, they continue to share their enthusiasm for the ocean with visiting and local divers.
DIVE WITH RAGGED-TOOTH SHARKS
There is something memorable about watching a ragged-tooth shark move through a reef gully.
Affectionately called “raggies,” these sharks may be encountered at several local sites. Our dives offer the opportunity to observe them in their natural environment, without bait or cages.
Look beyond the larger animals, too. Smaller catsharks, rays and reef creatures add their own interest to a dive. Sightings vary with the site, season and conditions, and wildlife encounters are never guaranteed.
