This course can be completed directly after your open water diver course and is designed to advance your diving, build confidence and gain experience.

We’ll guide you through each step, so you know exactly what’s coming and feel confident before getting in the water.
Complete Your eLearning
Work through the online knowledge development for your five selected Adventure Dives.
Develop Navigation Skills
Complete the required Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive and practise navigating with a compass and natural references.
Experience Deeper Diving
Complete the required Deep Adventure Dive while learning how depth affects you, your air supply and the dive environment.
Complete Three Adventure Dives
Choose three additional dives based on your interests, such as buoyancy, wreck, night or fish identification, and earn your Advanced Open Water Diver certification after completing all five dives.

About This Course
During this course, you’ll revise how to use scuba equipment, manage buoyancy, communicate underwater, and complete real dive skills with your instructor.
What you will learn:
- Complete five Adventure Dives, including Deep Diving and Underwater Navigation.
- Learn how to safely plan and manage deeper dives.
- Improve your compass skills and navigate using landmarks, kick cycles and time.
- Choose three additional Adventure Dives based on your interests, such as buoyancy, photography, fish identification or wreck diving.
- Qualified Advanced Open Water Divers may dive to 30 metres.
- Junior Advanced Open Water Divers aged 12–14 may dive to 21 metres.
