Description

Experience the ocean after dark and learn how to dive safely at night.

The PADI Night Diver Specialty helps certified divers build confidence diving in low-light and night conditions. You’ll learn how to use a dive torch, communicate in the dark, navigate at night, stay close to your buddy, and observe how marine life changes after sunset.

For Port Elizabeth / Algoa Bay diving, this course is especially exciting because familiar reef sites can feel completely different at night. You’ll focus on safety, awareness, calm movement, torch control, and good buddy procedures in darker conditions.

PADI describes night diving as a specialty where divers learn to communicate in the dark, use a dive light, and pay attention to details that are easy to miss during daytime dives.

Course Includes

  • PADI Night Diver specialty training
  • Night diving theory / knowledge development
  • Dive light handling and communication
  • Buddy procedures at night
